What is the Journal?
The Journal of Environmental Management Arizona was, formerly, a printed bi-monthly trade journal provided to qualified environmental, health and safety (EH&S) professionals in Arizona, free of charge. Beginning with the November 2017 issue (Volume 16, No. 1), the Journal is now published entirely as an online publication.
The Journal is a forum to share current and practical information and perspectives on issues important to our local community in Arizona, as well as an efficient and economical vehicle for advertisers to market their EH&S related products and services to this important industry sector. The Journal reader is informed on current environmental, health and safety issues and how these issues will affect their state and their facility, along with useful and practical information. Our goal is to help our readers better protect the environment, increase safety, understand and appropriately apply environmental regulations, and save time and money for their company.
Who is the Journal written for?
The Journal's core readers are the thousands of EH&S professionals at Arizona's environmentally regulated businesses, including those that store, handle, treat, or transport hazardous materials and/or hazardous waste, and facilities that fall under air quality and/or water quality regulations.
Journal readers also include environmental service providers, suppliers, technical consultants, laboratories, transporters, environmental attorneys, regulators at the state, county, city and tribal levels, educators, and other professional in closely related organizations.
The Journal focuses largely on providing practical, hands-on information and educational tools through interesting feature articles, opinion columns by industry experts, and regular department features.
